Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and evaluate underwriting criteria for various types of insurance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each insurance application.
• Aid in developing training materials for junior underwriting staff.
• Utilize underwriting software to manage applications efficiently.
• Assist in claims evaluation and advise on underwriting policies.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss market shifts and risk assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Professional underwriting designation is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in underwriting or related financial services
