Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Scientist who will play a critical role in our environmental assessments and sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of environmental regulations and a commitment to ecological preservation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the environmental impacts of proposed projects and developments.
• Compile comprehensive reports for stakeholders and clients.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on environmental awareness.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential environmental hazards.
• Liaise with government bodies to ensure policy compliance.
• Develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges.
• Work closely with community groups to promote awareness of sustainability issues.
• Assist in the development of corporate sustainability plans.
• Track and report on progress towards sustainability goals.
• Research the latest trends and technologies in environmental science.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Science or similar is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related fields

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
