Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Specialist to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality. You will develop and execute test plans and cases, identify and document defects, and collaborate closely with development teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot issues in software applications and systems.
• Document testing processes and provide training to junior QA staff.
• Review functional and design specifications to ensure clarity and completeness.
• Provide input to software design and development processes for quality improvements.
• Report on testing progress and outcomes to QA Manager.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance processes

Technical Skills

• API Testing
• Performance Testing
• Version Control

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
• Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge in DevOps practices: Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Experience in Mobile Testing: Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on iOS or Android.
