Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for overseeing various infrastructure projects, ensuring that they are designed and executed according to specifications and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil engineering principles and be able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction projects ensuring adherence to deadlines.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Assess environmental impacts of engineering projects.
• Implement health and safety measures at construction sites.
• Analyze survey reports and soil data to ensure structural integrity.
• Evaluate design specifications and recommend modifications.
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals.
• Manage project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering
