Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for overseeing various infrastructure projects, ensuring that they are designed and executed according to specifications and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil engineering principles and be able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering plans and specifications.
• Oversee construction operations and ensure project compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers on project designs.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for engineering projects.
• Ensure the quality of materials and workmanship on-site.
• Evaluate project proposals and provide engineering analyses.
• Compile engineering reports and documentation.
• Assess potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering
