Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new mechanical systems.
• Perform simulations and modelling of mechanical components.
• Work with suppliers to ensure quality materials and components.
• Conduct regular engineering reviews to assess project progress.
• Foster a collaborative work environment to enhance team performance.
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify designs.
• Assure product quality through rigorous testing and inspection.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for comprehensive project delivery.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Document design changes and maintain records.
• Attend training and development workshops to stay current in the field.

Requirements

Education

• BEng in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Masters in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering

• SolidWorks
• AutoCAD
• Matlab

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)
• Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
