Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. You will work closely with project managers and clients to ensure project specifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select electrical components for projects.
• Assist in budget estimation and cost control.
• Prepare and present technical proposals to clients.
• Review and approve engineering designs and specifications.
• Conduct research and development for new electrical technologies.
• Participate in client meetings and project briefings.
• Ensure quality assurance in all engineering processes.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Create training materials for staff on new systems.
• Act as a liaison between clients and the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in the electrical engineering field
