Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist at our Durban facility, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include conducting psycho-social assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose psychological conditions in clients.
  • Design and implement individual therapy programs based on client assessments.
  • Participate actively in team meetings to discuss client progress.
  • Develop rapport with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Create and deliver presentations on mental health issues.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Support clients in crisis situations by providing timely interventions.
  • Document therapy sessions and client interactions comprehensively.
  • Coordinate with external organizations for client referrals when necessary.
  • Educate clients about mental health and coping mechanisms.

Requirements

Education
  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or related field
  • Doctorate preferred for advanced positions
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical role
