Job Description

As a Public Health Officer in Pretoria, you will play a key role in designing health interventions and public awareness campaigns. The position involves extensive research, collaboration with public health agencies, and fostering partnerships aimed at improving health outcomes for all citizens.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead health promotion campaigns addressing local health challenges.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with health standards.
  • Support emergency preparedness programs and response initiatives.

  • Conduct training for staff on public health protocols and practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Community Health
  • Master's degree preferred with specialization in Health Promotion
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a health officer role or similar capacity
