Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive structural designs in accordance with industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with building codes.
• Liaise with project stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
• Utilize advanced modelling software to produce accurate design simulations.
• Prepare and present project proposals to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and approve shop drawings from contractors.
• Maintain documentation for all project phases and modifications.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and interns on best practices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering
