Job Description

We're hiring a Food Service Cook who can ensure the timely preparation and cooking of meals. Your responsibilities will include managing kitchen operations, collaborating with team members, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Cook and present food items in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure food preparation areas are clean and stocked.
  • Monitor food stocks and notify if any supplies need reordering.
  • Create and maintain a positive and productive kitchen atmosphere.
  • Follow portion control and waste management guidelines.
  • Assist in ensuring all kitchen tools and equipment are maintained.
  • Adhere to recipes and ensure food quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with management to suggest menu improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma
  • Culinary Arts Degree preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of cooking experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
