Building Surveyor - Durban - Urban Planning

Job Description

We are seeking a Building Surveyor to join our Durban team, focusing on urban planning and development projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of building regulations, along with experience in project management and client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Perform site visits and inspections throughout the construction process.
• Collaborate with architectural teams to align project goals.
• Prepare and submit planning applications to relevant authorities.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems encountered during building projects.
• Assist in preparing budgets and timelines for surveys and projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience with a focus on urban planning or development
