We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Perform on-site evaluations and inspections to assess project progress.
• Liaise with government agencies and other stakeholders on project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documents including contracts, specifications, and plans.
• Evaluate bids and proposals from contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure that project goals are aligned with corporate and client objectives.
• Prepare budgets, schedules, and resource allocations for projects.
• Facilitate training and development programs for engineering staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in civil engineering.
• Promote sustainable engineering practices throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 7+ years of experience with a focus on infrastructure projects

• Environmental Impact Assessment

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (C.Eng) status is advantageous
