HR Generalist

Job Description

As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in managing various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, resourceful, and have a passion for enhancing workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the recruitment strategy to attract qualified candidates.
• Monitor and improve team performance by identifying skill gaps and training needs.
• Implement employee satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback for improvement.
• Guide managers on best practices for employee performance reviews.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of current labor laws affecting the workplace.
• Assist in managing workplace health and safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
• Honours degree in HR Management is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in HR roles within a corporate environment

Certifications

• CPHR (Certified Professional in Human Resources)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in Industrial Relations: Understanding of industrial relations practices and experience in negotiations.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations: Familiarity with health and safety compliance and initiatives in the workplace.
