Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in Pretoria. You will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. This position calls for someone who is detail-oriented and compassionate, focusing on patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and label medications for dispensing.
  • Engage with customers and address their questions or concerns.
  • Follow up on refill requests and manage prescriptions.
  • Aid in running health promotion campaigns within the community.
  • Ensure the pharmacy complies with all local laws and regulations.
  • Document any medication errors and report them to management.
  • Assist in various administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field is a plus
  • Registration with SAPC is mandatory
Experience
  • 2-3 years in a similar position preferred
