Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations in Johannesburg. In this role, you will manage a team of warehouse staff, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse functions and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse operations and manage daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Conduct regular stock audits and manage discrepancies.
• Develop and implement strategies for process improvement.
• Manage relationships with vendors and shipping partners.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure equipment maintenance is carried out regularly.
• Prepare monthly reports on warehouse performance.
• Foster a positive workplace culture among team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or operations management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is an advantage.

Experience

• 3-5 years in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment.
