We are on the lookout for a passionate Civil Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in designing and overseeing construction projects aimed at enhancing urban infrastructure. You should have a solid understanding of engineering principles and a keen eye for detail as you work on projects that require both creativity and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead various civil engineering initiatives to improve urban infrastructure.
• Assess and evaluate existing infrastructure for upgrades.
• Prepare detailed project reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with government entities for necessary permits.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor the quality of work.
• Provide engineering advice and analytics to the project team.
• Develop and manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Ensure health and safety protocols are maintained on site.
• Engage with stakeholders and community members.
• Present project updates to clients and team members.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in civil engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Cost Estimation
• GIS Software

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
