Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems for various projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical defects promptly.
• Work with project managers to achieve project milestones.
• Implement quality assurance procedures on all installations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
• Document installation and repair processes accurately.
• Collaborate with suppliers for necessary materials and tools.
• Provide technical support to junior technicians as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Electrical Circuit Analysis
• Autodesk AutoCAD
• Building Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CAD Software: Experience using CAD software for designing electrical layouts.
• Experience in HVAC Systems: Knowledge and experience in electrical components related to HVAC systems.
