Job Description

As our Warehouse Manager, you will be at the forefront of our logistics operations in Johannesburg. Your main tasks will include overseeing warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, and streamlining warehouse processes to enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills and experience in a managerial role within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and deliveries.
• Lead warehouse staff in adopting new technologies and procedures.
• Regularly assess staff performance and provide coaching as needed.
• Work with suppliers to ensure the smooth flow of materials.
• Monitor equipment and recommend maintenance when necessary.
• Generate performance metrics to present to management.
• Foster a collaborative environment within the warehouse team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of logistics or warehouse management experience

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
