Job Description

As a Homicide Investigator, you will be pivotal in solving homicide cases, collaborating closely with law enforcement agencies and forensic teams. Your role will involve gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing comprehensive reports to support criminal proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into homicides and coordinate with various law enforcement agencies.
• Develop profiles of suspects and victims based on gathered evidence.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and ethical considerations during investigations.
• Engage with community members to gather intel and provide assistance.
• Support the development of investigative procedures and protocols.
• Utilize forensic technology and other resources to enhance case outcomes.
• Provide detailed case updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in law enforcement, specifically in homicide investigations is required.
