Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluation of insurance submissions based on established criteria.
• Make sound underwriting decisions regarding the acceptance and pricing of risk.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to align underwriting practices with market needs.
• Review emerging trends and data analytics to guide risk assessment practices.
• Evaluate continuous applicability of risk management strategies.
• Train junior underwriting staff in best practices and compliance.
• Assist in the development and refinement of insurance pricing structures.
• Engage with external stakeholders to enhance collaborative underwriting efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Insurance
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPCU, CIU) are highly regarded

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in underwriting roles
