Construction Manager

Job Description

As a Construction Manager at Building Solutions Ltd., you'll have the opportunity to lead diverse construction projects in Grahamstown. You will be tasked with maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness, along with managing project resources and communicating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct construction processes from initial planning to final completion.
• Liaise with suppliers for materials procurement and delivery.
• Continuously evaluate contractor performance and project progress.
• Manage and draft contracts with various stakeholders.
• Implement efficient project management practices to maximize productivity.
• Facilitate communication between team members and external parties.
• Coordinating budgeting, scheduling, and staffing for various projects.
• Review construction plans and ensure they are followed correctly.
• Lead regular meetings with subcontractors to discuss project updates.
• Ensure that all work complies with local building codes and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Construction Management or Building Science

Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in the construction industry
