Compliance Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting risk assessments, and developing policies and procedures to promote compliance. The ideal applicant will possess a strong understanding of compliance mechanisms and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and update compliance programs to ensure effectiveness.
• Conduct regular internal audits and assessments.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance throughout the organization.
• Update internal policies to reflect current legislation.
• Develop compliance training programs for employees.
• Act as a point of contact for compliance inquiries.
• Follow up on compliance issues and report findings to management.
• Analyze data to identify trends in compliance violations.
• Support ethical business practices and compliance culture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCEP, CISA) are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a compliance role
