Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our team and assist in managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be well-versed in accounting software, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of financial information by reconciling accounts.
• Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews of financial information.
• Provide recommendations for financial improvements.
• Support payroll processing and related functions.
• Serve as a liaison for any accounting inquiries.
• Keep abreast of financial regulation changes and updates.
• Engage in professional development and training opportunities.
• Facilitate the implementation of new accounting software systems.
• Promote best practices within the finance team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• CIMA or CA(SA) preferred

Experience

• 3-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

Languages

• English: Fluent
