We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in automating workflows and managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring our systems are reliable and scalable. You will collaborate closely with developers and other operations team members to streamline deployment processes and improve overall efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with development and operational teams to facilitate smooth deployment.
• Implement monitoring systems for proactive alerting.
• Document processes and procedures for onboarding and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies for development and operations.
• Spearhead initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud and DevOps roles

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Ansible
• Monitoring Tools

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with HashiCorp tools: Hands-on experience with HashiCorp tools for infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture: Understanding of microservices design patterns and implementations.
