Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain a variety of heavy machinery and equipment.
• Effectively diagnose and solve mechanical and technical issues.
• Perform repairs and overhauls of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance work.
• Document maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts procurement and supply management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance protocols.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills.
• Work independently and often lead small teams on repair projects.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in excellent condition.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Trade certificate in heavy equipment repair preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of related experience in handling heavy machinery.

Technical Skills

• Experience working with hydraulic systems
• Propulsion systems knowledge

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Lift Truck Mechanic

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
