Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Pet Groomer to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for grooming dogs and cats, ensuring they leave our salon looking and feeling their best. Ideal candidates have a love for animals and experience in grooming.

Responsibilities

• Handle various breeds of pets with care and professionalism.
• Assist in training new grooming staff.
• Monitor the health and well-being of pets during grooming.
• Maintain an orderly supply of grooming products.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and their pets.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a grooming salon or veterinary clinic

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Proficiency
• Knowledge of Pet Breeds

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Customer Service

Certifications

• Certified Pet Groomer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to perform basic pet first aid: Knowledge of first aid techniques for pets.
• Experience in sales of pet products: Experience in recommending and selling pet care products.
