Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Counselor to join our Cape Town clinic. You will be responsible for creating therapeutic relationships, offering counseling services, and facilitating group therapy sessions aimed at recovery and wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate client mental health through structured interviews and assessments.
  • Create and deliver engaging therapeutic programs for groups and individuals.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment interventions as needed.
  • Support family members in understanding mental health challenges.
  • Participate in case reviews and clinical team meetings.
  • Assist in the development of community outreach programs on mental health awareness.
  • Engage in research initiatives to advance mental health practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work
  • Master's degree in Counseling is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant counseling experience
