Job Description

As a Corporate Lawyer at Corporate Legal Advisors, you will handle a diverse range of legal issues related to corporate law. Your expertise will guide our clients through business transactions, ensuring compliance and legal protection.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on compliance with corporate regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
• Represent clients in legal negotiations and disputes.
• Conduct due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Provide ongoing advice regarding corporate governance.
• Stay updated on changes in legislation affecting corporate law.
• Develop and implement internal compliance programs.
• Assist in corporate restructuring processes.
• Prepare case files for litigation.
• Collaborate with other departments on legal matters.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent qualification
• Postgraduate studies in Corporate Law is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of post-admission experience in corporate law

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
