Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our construction sites in Bloemfontein. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to coordinate various trade workers, and ensure that all construction standards are met while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise project activities and approve work completed by subcontractors.
  • Maintain records, including site diaries and logs, ensuring they are updated regularly.
  • Evaluate and schedule equipment and materials necessary for construction.
  • Promote a positive site culture that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Conduct final inspections to ensure work is completed to specification before project handover.

Requirements

Education
  • National Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
  • BTech in Construction Management preferred
Experience
  • 5-8 years of relevant construction supervision experience
