Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Technician who can bring technical expertise and problem-solving skills to our engineering team in Johannesburg. You will work directly with mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair processes for mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document mechanical malfunctions.
• Conduct proactive inspections on mechanical systems.
• Collaborate on engineering projects to ensure system efficiency.
• Prepare maintenance schedules and track progress.
• Support the training of junior technicians.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years or more of practical experience in mechanical maintenance
