DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are in search of a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and automation tools to enhance our development workflow.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Facilitate continuous integration and deployment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps, sysadmin, or cloud engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Terraform

• Effective Communication

Certifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with logging frameworks such as ELK: Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring frameworks to improve system visibility.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef: Experience in managing infrastructure with configuration management tools.
