Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing electrical systems for various projects. You will work closely with project managers and other engineers to ensure the successful execution of projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical schematics and design layouts.
• Perform inspections and quality control on electrical installations.
• Ensure projects meet technical and legislative requirements.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized work.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
• Review and approve design changes and modifications.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on electrical systems.
• Prepare technical reports and project proposals.
• Assist in budget management and expenditure tracking.
• Support environmental sustainability initiatives within projects.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on project management
