Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications and determine coverage amounts and premiums.
• Conduct risk assessments and analyze information to assess risk exposure.
• Prepare reports on underwriting decisions and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with insurance agents and clients to clarify information and gather additional data.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and company policies.
• Monitor and review existing policies to ensure they remain profitable.
• Assist in developing underwriting strategies and procedures.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Insurance is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in insurance underwriting
