Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tobacco Wetter to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for wetting tobacco leaves to meet quality standards, ensuring that all processes align with company regulations. Experience in the tobacco industry will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor moisture levels of tobacco throughout the production process.
  • Operate wetting equipment and ensure it is functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to perform regular quality checks.
  • Record moisture level data and report any abnormalities to management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss production efficiency.
  • Train new team members on proper wetting techniques and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management for raw tobacco materials.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma
Experience
  • Experience with operating wetting equipment is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical stamina
Soft Skills
  • Flexibility to work in shifts
Languages
  • English: Fluent
