Job Description

We are looking for skilled Ophthalmic Laboratory Technicians to join our talented team. The ideal candidates will have experience in lens finishing techniques and knowledge of various lens materials.

Responsibilities

  • Cut, shape, and polish lenses to meet customer specifications.
  • Follow strict quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain accurate records of lens production and quality checks.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
  • Train and mentor new team members on lens finishing techniques.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding equipment performance.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for production efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Optical Technology is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in lens finishing or related field
