Job Description

We need a Civil Engineer who is passionate about infrastructure development to join our team in Pretoria. You will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering designs are functional, sustainable, and compliant with local regulations. Your input will be crucial from project inception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects.
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary engineering team projects.
• Review and approve contractor invoices and budget amendments.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Work with local authorities to obtain necessary permits.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory approval.
• Conduct training sessions for team members on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Master's degree in relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in civil engineering environments

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Environmental Regulations

• Leadership

Certifications

• LEED Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Advanced Geotechnical Engineering knowledge: Experience dealing with complicated foundation designs.
