Job Description

As an Inventory Technician, you will be pivotal in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock levels are optimized. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to effectively handle inventory discrepancies and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels regularly and reorder supplies as needed.
• Generate reports on inventory performance and suggest improvements.
• Utilize inventory management software effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve inventory-related issues.
• Perform regular audits of inventory records.
• Assist in the development and updating of inventory procedures.
• Train new staff on inventory management processes.
• Support the Inventory Manager in strategic planning.
• Participate in seasonal inventory preparation and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in inventory areas.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or related field is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years' experience in inventory management or a related field

Languages

• English: Fluent
