Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to enhance our engineering team in Johannesburg. You will be involved in the complete lifecycle of mechanical design, from conceptualization to development, ensuring robust functionality and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and refine designs based on testing and feedback.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to facilitate production.
• Identify and troubleshoot design issues efficiently.
• Implement improvements for efficiency and sustainability.
• Contribute to project management and timeline estimates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design or engineering

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Project Management
• Technical Reporting

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Critical Thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of HVAC systems: Experience in designing and implementing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
