We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will manage the warehouse operations, ensuring optimal inventory management and operational efficiency. Your leadership will be crucial in driving improvements and maintaining high standards of health and safety within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for improving warehouse operations.
• Supervise the unloading and loading of goods to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain and update inventory management systems.
• Direct the work of warehouse staff and provide ongoing feedback.
• Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
• Ensure timely communication with suppliers and transport providers.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Monitor compliance with company policies regarding inventory and security.
• Facilitate effective communication between warehouse and other operational teams.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics

Experience

• 5+ years in warehouse operations, preferably in a managerial role
