Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules and plans.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and safety.
• Participate in project risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.
• Document project activities and outcomes accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Project Management certification is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in civil engineering with project management experience

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Structural Engineering Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Collaboration

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) certification
• Certified Project Manager (CPM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Proficiency with design software helps in project execution.
• Previous project management experience: Experience managing civil projects from initiation to completion is highly regarded.
