We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and ensure engineering designs comply with legal standards.
• Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders regarding project approvals.
• Review and approve technical documentation and plans.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.
• Investigate site issues or complaints and implement solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Project Management certification is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in civil engineering with project management experience

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Structural Engineering Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Collaboration

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) certification
• Certified Project Manager (CPM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
