Job Description

As a Hospitality Manager in Johannesburg, you will play a key role in managing hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and leading a dedicated team. You will be tasked with maintaining quality standards and developing strategies to enhance the guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review operational systems to improve service quality.
  • Develop staff training programs to improve performance and guest experiences.
  • Analyze customer feedback and implement improvements based on insights.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives to enhance hotel offerings.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all hotel departments, including housekeeping and front desk.
  • Report regularly to the General Manager on hotel performance and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or related field
  • Relevant certifications in hospitality management preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a managerial role within hospitality
