Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our Durban location. You will be responsible for maintaining high service standards, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for fine dining.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the operational aspects of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff to uphold service excellence.
  • Establish and enforce safety standards and health regulations.
  • Control inventory and facilitate regular stock takes.
  • Initiate marketing efforts to boost restaurant performance.
  • Actively respond to customer feedback and adjust service accordingly.
  • Develop and analyze financial reports to gauge performance.
  • Coordinate with culinary teams to deliver high-quality dishes.
  • Ensure the restaurant is welcoming and visually appealing.
  • Track sales targets and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality
  • Additional qualifications in Business Management advantageous
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience managing a high-volume restaurant
