We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal care and have experience assisting veterinarians in daily procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians in all aspects of animal care.
• Conduct initial patient assessments upon arrival.
• Administer treatments and collect samples for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
• Communicate with pet owners about treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Ensure the health and welfare of all animals in the clinic.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to improve patient care.
• Adhere to all veterinary protocols and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Technology or related field
• Licensure as a Veterinary Technician is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic setting
