Job Description

As an Excavating Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate daily activities of excavation projects, ensuring safe and efficient execution of operations. You will enforce compliance with safety regulations and project plans, leading our skilled team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage excavation activities on construction sites ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with project managers to develop and execute excavation plans.
• Monitor progress on excavation projects and prepare reports for management.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Facilitate communication between different teams and ensure cooperation.
• Provide hands-on training to crew members regarding excavation techniques.
• Evaluate equipment performance and arrange for repairs or replacement.
• Keep records of materials and resources used during excavation.
• Inspect excavation sites to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
• Schedule maintenance of excavation machinery.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in excavation or related fields are advantageous.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in excavation or construction management.
