We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee our operations in Cape Town. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of food quality and service, while managing a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the food and beverage team effectively.
• Design and execute marketing strategies to promote food services.
• Conduct regular meetings to discuss service improvements.
• Foster a positive working environment through effective team building.
• Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.
• Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Engage with guests to gather feedback and improve service.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Hospitality Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a senior food and beverage role

Technical Skills

• Event Planning
• Wine Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

• Experience developing wine lists and pairings: Proven ability to create curated wine lists and suggest pairings.
• Certifications in mixology: Relevant certifications in mixology to enhance beverage offerings.
