Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare products to patients, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage prescription data entry and verification.
• Assist in medication therapy management.
• Aid in pharmacy marketing initiatives and community outreach.
• Manage patient follow-ups for medication refills.
• Train and supervise junior staff as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare setting

• Pharmaceutical Knowledge

Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• First Aid and CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Fluency in both languages is advantageous for patient interactions.
