We are seeking a qualified Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing aerospace systems and components. Responsibilities

• Oversee the production of design specifications and project deliverables.
• Conduct flight tests and analyze data for system performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers on material and component selection.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and aerospace technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
• Master's might be considered an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of aerospace design engineering experience

Technical Skills

• MATLAB
• CATIA

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Project management

Certifications

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Python: Experience scripting and automating tasks for design processes.
• Advanced knowledge of composite materials: Experience working with advanced composite materials for aerostructures.
