Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing aerospace systems and components. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for innovation in aerospace technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and test aerospace systems and components.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet technical specifications.
  • Optimize designs through simulation and analysis tools.
  • Develop and execute test plans for aerospace systems and components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Document project specifications, design changes, and testing results.
  • Present findings and technical reports to engineering leadership.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
  • Master's might be considered an advantage
Experience
  • 3-5 years of aerospace design engineering experience
Technical Skills
  • MATLAB
  • CATIA

Certifications
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Afrikaans: Basic
