Pharmacist

Job Description

Join our team as a Pharmacist and contribute to our mission of enhancing patient health. You will manage medication therapy for patients, provide expert advice on drug interactions, and maintain the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medication reviews to identify possible drug interactions.
• Provide immunizations and health screenings as required.
• Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Assist in patient medication adherence programs to improve health outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect patient privacy in all interactions.
• Monitor adverse drug reactions and report them to the appropriate authorities.
• Support the pharmacy team in daily operations and stock management.
• Provide expert oversight during pharmacy consultations.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by fostering a welcoming environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or relevant field
• Master's degree in Pharmacy is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy environment

• Medication Management

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist Certification
• CPR and First Aid Certified

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
