Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Insurance Claims Consultant to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the claims process and a passion for helping clients navigate their claims effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assess insurance claims to determine eligibility and coverage limits.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for claim processing.
  • Negotiate settlements and manage communications effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate swift claims processing.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in claims procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor claims trends and report on any significant patterns or issues.
  • Ensure timely responses to client inquiries related to claims.
  • Foster a supportive and professional environment for clients during the claims process.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry
