Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at Healthcare Solutions Ltd., you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, planning and implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating patient responses. Responsibilities

• Perform routine check-ups and document vital signs.
• Administer IV therapy and wound care.
• Coordinate patient discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in ongoing education and skills development.
• Assist in training and mentoring nursing staff.
• Support patients in daily activities as needed.
• Engage in patient advocacy to ensure quality care.
• Use health informatics tools for patient management.
• Attend regular team meetings to discuss patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nursing Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting

Technical Skills

• IV Therapy

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Certification in Palliative Care: Specialized training in palliative care practices.
